How many guests can SharpTop Cove host?
SharpTop Cove can accommodate groups of up to 575 in our housing and dining areas.​

Is there a minimum reservation number require​d?
For exclusive use of the property on a weekend, SharpTop Cove requires a minimum of 350 paying guests. We are glad to accommodate smaller groups, but there is a possibility of sharing the facilities with other groups. In those instances, we will assist you in coordinating meal times and use of the main meeting rooms.​

What options are there for smaller groups at SharpTop Cove?​
SharpTop Cove offers two lodges, Timber Ridge and Eagle Branch, which can be rented separately for smaller groups. Please see our “Plan A Retreat” page for more details.​

Do you provide meals for every group?
We are able to provide meals for groups of 50 people or more. Smaller groups that rent one of our lodges will have access to a full kitchen located within their lodge.​

What types of meals are available?
Our highly praised kitchen staff has put together a large selection of delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. As you are planning your trip to SharpTop Cove, we will work with you to put together a menu that fits your needs.​

Are you able to provide special dietary options?
As part of our personalized service, our chefs are always dedicated to providing healthy and appetizing alternatives for guests with special dietary needs. If you have a guest with allergies or special dietary needs, please let us know prior to arriving at camp and we will be happy to discuss meal options with you. ​

What activites do you offer?
SharpTop Cove offers a wide variety of activities including a pool, game room, gym, zip line, giant swing, frisbee golf, and much more.  Please check out our Activities page to see what all we have to offer!

What is dorm housing like?
SharpTop Cove has four dorms: Burnt Mountain, Lookout Mountain, Springer Mountain, and Stone Mountain. Each dorm can house 96 people and features a private bathroom for each room in the building. In addition to the dorms, we have three cabins that each house 30 people. Please check out our Facilities page for more information about our accommodations.

Do you provide AV equipment?
Our primary meeting space, the Wheelhouse, offers a full line of AV equipment including sound, lighting, and projection systems. Use of our AV equipment and meeting facilities is included with the rental of the property. We do ask that you provide someone to run this equipment for your program, but we will be available for training and troubleshooting.​

How do I participate in Work Crew or Summer Staff during the summer?
Work Crew is a volunteer experience at a Young Life property for those in high school. To be eligible a student must have completed one year of high school and his or her local area’s Work Crew training course. For more information, talk to Young LIfe Area Director

Summer Staff is a volunteer opportunity for those who have completed at least one year of college (of are of college or post-college age). To get more information and to apply for Summer Staff, please click here.

How do I contact my son or daughter at the propterty?
Besides contacting one of the trip leaders, there are two ways to contact the property. First, call the office at (706) 692-5635. If the office is closed, you can reach the host on duty at 770-547-3671.​

What are your office hours?
Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm EST.
